Following the announcement of a nationwide lockdown by the President, Grundfos South Africa (PTY) Ltd will be going into lockdown, as of midnight 26th March 2020, for a period of 21 days. We would like to address some of the implications over this period.
Firstly, we as Grundfos would like to state that we remain open for business as we have put measures into place allowing our staff to work from home. This is with the exception of collections and deliveries, which will be suspended from Friday this week (27th March) until 17th April.
For the most part we are fully functional in terms of being able to compile quotes, order stock from manufacturing units, refine or amend existing quotes, and provide technical assistance.
Current orders in production will as far as possible be delivered by Thursday as arranged otherwise scheduled for as soon as possible after lockdown.
Our service and operation division will have emergency procedures in place with standby teams to ensure support to all Essential Services with the correct documentation from the relative establishment. To utilise this service contact your Grundfos representative.
