Climate change has hit the agricultural segment the hardest in South Africa. Farmers have lost crop and livestock across the country as many parts of the country have been hit by great droughts.
This has introduced an increased need for a sustainable water solution that is kinder to our environment and offers a long-term and durable solution to the agriculture segment.
GRUNDFOS recently held a training session with a group of South African farmers at Loskop Valley which is a farm located 20km, South West of Marble Hall, Groblersdal in the Mpumalanga Province.
The farmers are all major key farmers in the Groblersdal/Marble Hall area. They showed interest in Grundfos solutions applicable to the agricultural segment and the energy savings potential they can get with solar-powered solutions by Grundfos. The farmers in attendance demonstrated a high interest in what Grundfos can offer to them and left the training session feeling inspired to invest in solutions for their large scale farms.
