Imparting valuable knowledge to future leaders continues to be a priority for Grundfos

The EU Climate Diplomacy Week (30 September – 4 October) which took place at Wits East Campus University is about EU Delegations and embassies of several EU Member States around the world hosting various events to foster dialogue and cooperation on climate change, showcase success stories and inspire further action.

Grundfos SSA Area Managing Director, Henning Sandager had the honour of addressing the attendees at one of the seminars that took place during the week. At the EU Climate Diplomacy Week, Grundfos in partnership with the Danish Embassy had the opportunity to present and address students about career opportunities that will assist in tackling climate changes. Grundfos presented graduates/ students career opportunities within the field of working with sustainable solutions, in a multi-national company like Grundfos.

The focus was related to the SDG’s 6 & 13 which is a known focal point for Grundfos
and what a company like Grundfos is doing and working on in relation to water
and energy and the challenges within these fields across Africa.

Doing business and doing good at the same time for the society was well received. Students were inspired by the various categories of job opportunities a multinational like Grundfos can offer and the possibility of contributing to sustainable solutions that will address the water challenges in Africa.
