As the population of the world continues to grow so does the demand for water and energy resources.
Innovative water solutions are currently in high demand all around the world as our planet continues to face water and climate challenges. There is a deafening call to come up with answers to these water and climate challenges. As a company that is in the position of a global leader in water solutions, Grundfos feels compelled to be the company to bring about the solutions to these challenges. Grundfos is committed to contributing to our ambition of providing water to people in need and this is a solid strategic fit with Grundfos' purpose and ambitions to contribute to SDG6 and SDG 13.
Grundfos Water utility experts from all around the globe met in South Africa to devise a roadmap on how Grundfos can provide the water solutions needed by the world. In the 3-day long workshop conducted, two external speakers Mr. Klaus Roennow Poulsen and Dr. Inga Jacobs-Mata spoke on technology trends, go-to-market approach and providing Grundfos input on these topics. The group engaged in dialogues that mapped out the interests and actions for the next 5 years.
“We had a lot of collaboration, great interactions, and passionate people. We really developed a truly global team where we work towards one goal together”, said Grundfos Global Product Manager, Geraldine Tsui Yee Lin.
“It was great to spend time with sales leaders from across the world on key issues within our market. Similarities between our regions showed us that we are different but also the same, learning from each other’s successes and failures will lead us to become the market leaders again”, said Grundfos South Africa Sales Director, Bennie Thiart.
This workshop proved to be both insightful and engaging for the attendees as they left the event feeling inspired to continue contributing to the much-needed innovative water solutions.
