Grundfos stands out at Ethiopia’s biggest construction exhibition

Ethiopia has one of the fastest-growing economies in the world, according to The Economist. The country has also recorded an “impressive growth” during the past few years, according to a new IMF review.

Ethiopia is Africa’s second-most populous nation with an estimated population of around 112.08 million (2019). As the country’s population increases, so do the demand for better infrastructure, sustainable water solutions and innovative technology that will
sustain a country of its size.

The Ethio-Con exhibition is one of the biggest infrastructure and construction exhibitions in Ethiopia with visitors from the construction sector. The exhibition provides exhibitors and visitors the opportunity to meet buyers of the largest building and construction materials in Ethiopia. Grundfos made its presence felt at the exhibition as we showcased our wide product range to ensure we stood out from competitors and local pump suppliers who dominate the exhibition. Attendees of the exhibition showed interest in our solar solutions namely, the RSI inverter and our booster set offerings which consist of our famous CR pumps.

“Drilling companies and heads of the municipal water companies were pleased to interact with Grundfos offerings at the exhibition,” said Grundfos Ethiopia Country Manager, Maru Necho. Locals believe in the quality product Grundfos offers and showed immense interest in including Grundfos in future projects.
