Grundfos, the global leader in providing innovative, energy efficient pumps and pumping solutions, today announced that they will acquire long term local Australian partner, B.K.B. Pumps & Tanks Pty Ltd. The deal closure is expected to be finalised by early April 2013.

Water researcher awarded the Grundfos Prize
Today, the Grundfos Prize 2012 of 1 million Danish kroner was awarded to Professor Hans-Jørgen Albrechtsen from the Technical University of Denmark. The ceremony was held at The Poul Due Jensen Academy in Bjerringbro, Denmark, with the attendance of, among others, the former president of Costa Rica, José Maria Figueres Olsen, and the President of Venstre - the Liberal Party of Denmark, Lars Løkke Rasmussen.
